On 21st March 2026, over two and a half thousand runners took to the runway at Doncaster Sheffield Airport for a unique event, racing along the runway before the airport officially reopens for flights in 2027.
Hosted by Libra Races and Seasons Best Sports Timing, the run offered two different distances, 3.5k or 5.8k, both finishing next to the Vulcan Bomber.
How We Helped
On Friday 20th March, our team was on site at Doncaster Sheffield Airport, working closely with the organisers and the local council to make sure everything was ready to go. We delivered 23 toilets, including singles, urinals, and accessible units, which we strategically placed throughout the course to meet the needs of runners, staff and spectators.

Challenges We Faced
No runway is completely clear, events like this always have a few hurdles to navigate. There were a few last minute add on services and changes to plans, but we adapted seamlessly and ensured the event went smoothly.
