It’s a lazy Sunday afternoon when we received an urgent phone call from Tank, a popular nightclub in Sheffield City Centre (who’s clubbing on a Sunday?). Their roof has collapsed above the main toilet area, leaving the venue without functioning facilities, with the very real prospect of having to close.
They needed emergency toilet hire fast, and the party wasn’t going to stop on our watch!
Within hours of the call, our team had loaded up the van and delivered six portable toilets, ensuring the venue stayed operational without further disruption.
However, as expected in February, the weather tried its best to slow things down. The rain was heavy, the wind was howling, but the challenging weather didn’t stop us from installing the units safely and efficiently.
Thankfully, Dan (who has a history of throwing shapes on the dancefloor) swapped his dancing shoes to ensure party-goers had all the toilet facilities they needed to get through the night.
Even when the night came to an end, the job wasn’t over. Dan returned at 4am to collect our toilets in cold, wet conditions, as agreed.
The only after-party here was our out-of-hours support. Even if the weather’s rubbish, we are here when you need us and with an unmatched team commitment.
